The foie gras sold by The Golden Egg is drop shipped to you from D'Artagnan. The domestic foie gras comes from either Moulard or Muscovy Ducks (see ducks) that are grown on farms in either the Hudson Valley, New York or in the Sonoma Valley, California. The French ducks and geese are imported by D'Artagnan from the Midi-Pyrénées and are the only traditionally raised imported foie gras offered in the United States. Fois gras comes in three grades: A, B and C (see foie gras grades).
